Si vous choisissez des pétales de rose, vous en trouverez chez votre fleuriste bien sûr – pensez à le prévenir quelques jours avant -, en direct dans une serre, à la fin du marché aux fleurs de votre région.
Astuce: la congélation
Si vous avez la chance d’avoir un jardin fleuri, sachez que vous pouvez congeler vos pétales quelques semaines avant le Jour J !
Il conserveront ainsi leur fraîcheur pour un lancer tout en délicatesse sur les mariés.

Techniques de congélation:
Répartissez vos pétales sur un plateau ou une barquette en polystyrène et mettez les simplement dans votre congélateur.
La veille du mariage, sortez vos pétales afin qu’ils se décongèlent en douceur et que l’humidité s’évapore.
Choisissez des pétales clairs plutôt que des rouges ou fuchsias: ces derniers peuvent tâcher votre belle robe blanche ou les tenues des invités s’ils ne sont pas parfaitement secs.
Placez-les dans de jolis paniers d’osier et distribuez-les aux enfants du cortège et aux invités pour qu’ils puissent accueillir les nouveaux mariés sous une pluie de pétales de roses.
Nb: Pensez à un petit balayage sur le parvis après la cérémonie, et vérifiez auprès de la mairie que les lancers sont autorisés !
